Find the therapist that best suits your needs.
Claire Burns, Co-Founder, MA, LPC
Hi there! I’m passionate about helping you reconnect with your emotions, thoughts, body, and relationships. In our work together, you’ll learn to feel your feelings without being overwhelmed by them. Through mindfulness techniques, we'll build your self-awareness, strengthen your ability to care for yourself, and foster more authentic, vulnerable relationships.
I am a Level 2 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist with specialized training in attachment-based and emotionally focused therapies, all grounded in neuroscience. These approaches are designed to help you process difficult emotions, heal from trauma, and navigate relational challenges. We will compassionately address the parts of you that are grieving, lonely, or in pain, working through the defenses you’ve developed to protect yourself.
In our sessions, I hope you will experience not only security and deep care, but also moments of laughter and lightness. Through our work together, you will feel a stronger sense of safety in your body, a clearer understanding of your core values, and greater kindness toward yourself and others.
If you wish, we can also incorporate a spiritual framework into our work together!

Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy
Level 1 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Pyschotherapy) Training
Level 2 AEDP Essential Skills 1 Training
EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training
Past and continued supervision/consultation in IFS (Internal Family Systems), ego-states, and parts work
Outside of the Therapy Room
When I’m not working, I’m a daughter, sister, wife, and mom to a little one. I’m a bookworm who loves spending time outdoors and in cozy spaces. I also enjoy hosting friends and family for meals and good conversation. And for a fun fact: I’m a triplet! It definitely made answering the “name a fun fact about you” question a lot easier growing up.

We know how scary it can be to invest money into therapy without knowing if it will be a good fit or not. Therefore, we offer a free 20 min consultation call to talk to Claire and ask her any questions before meeting.
